Join us for our 70th Anniversary!
It’s hard to believe that our beloved YMCA John Island Camp is nearing its 70th anniversary. We owe the success and cherished memories of the camp to our wonderful community of alumni that has grown over the years. We will be celebrating this incredible milestone on May 24-25, 2024.
There will be a small social event on May 24 for those arriving early, followed by a trip to YMCA John Island Camp on May 25 (weather permitting) and a gala in the evening at the SteelWorkers’ Union Hall & Conference Center. We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 3, 2024. YMCA John Island Camp is the summer camp and residential outdoor education centre of the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario. We are located near the town of Spanish, Ontario Canada.
