Providing accessible services and information to Ontarians is an important part of what we do at the YMCA of North Bay.

Accessibility at the YMCA of North Bay

The YMCA of North Bay is committed to creating an accessible organization by removing barriers for people with disabilities. This includes people who work with the YMCA of North Bay and members of the public who use our services every day.

YMCA of North Bay Statement of Commitment

The YMCA of North Bay endeavours to demonstrate leadership for accessibility in Ontario. Our goal is to ensure accessibility for our employees and the public we serve in our services, products and facilities.

Our Customer Service Policy

Ontario has laws that set standards for accessibility, under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. The first of these, which became law in 2008, are the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service (Ontario Regulation 429/07). These important standards are designed to create a barrier-free and accessible Ontario by 2025. Learn more about what customers can expect from us:
